Seriously? That was the most stage managed parade you’ll ever see. 500 yards, stage where there’s a narrow street. It was organised just for one PR shot where 5,000 fans can look like a massive turnout.

One thing is for sure, we can now say Abu Dhabi are very aware of the lack of interest in their project and the lack of spark it ignites. No other reason to organise such a parade other than expecting a poor turnout. In a record breaking season.

They will also just pay the money for a target player as money is no object.

The figure I was remembering was up to Jan when they bought Laporte. Of course, you add what we spent on Sanchez and it'd be miles closer.

My point being that United have done their level best to 'buy it' too and haven't even got close due to basically being a bit shit at it.
