God doesn't exist because he lets the abovementioned group of people win the league, multiple European Cups and the club world cup.

Above all, God doesn't exist because I'm in the hell hole cesspool plane of existence. In this world of pain and suffering, sadness and evil.
And Liverpool won the league last year.

Missed the derailment and assumed this was more of their shit poetry.

Just saw a Facebook Twitter share post thing (not sure how to Screenshot and post on here) that went with:

City were missing only Laporte last season and were 20 points behind in January.

We are missing 8 big players and we’re only 10 off the top.

It’s being blown out of proportion because we’re Liverpool 😎’

Good God. Where to start with that drivel.

8 big players?

Vvd
Matip
Gomez
Keita
Jota
....

Nope, can’t think of any more

That’s a fair injury list though.

I liked the “it’s being blown out of proportion”... you’re the ones who keep banging on about injuries

Three of those wouldn’t even start.

They’ve arguably missed Jota the most.

Doesn’t quite get the attention because, and I’m not sure if anyone knows this, but Van Dijk got injured.

Apologies for the slight de-railment of the thread. I’m done.
Can I just gently respond that political alignment has bugger all to do with it - there are loads of lefties who are religious and quite a few right wingers who are not.

(Ayn Rand was aggressively atheist, for example)

Leftists do tend to go on about the iniquities of organised religion, yes - but firstly that does not preclude them believing themselves, and secondly it was (and is) often fully justified.

Here endeth the lesson

I barely remember Laporte being out last season. With VVD it's like I'm getting daily notifications on my phone. Great teams get injuries and still win.

That’s because Van Dijk’s was the first ever injury in the Premier League.

Perhaps it would be a good idea for a manager to build a squad rather than just 11 good players. It should be easyto do for a world class heavy metal manager with oodles of class and dignity to go along with the decent transfer budget over the years.

It’s as though they evolved seperately from the rest of us. Like they live in M Knight Shayamalan’s the Village or the island in Lost.
