West Ham makes sense. Moyes has history of getting some sort of tune out of absolute dog shit.

He'll just ask him to run about and clock a few more km than average and somehow make him look 100x better than he actually is.

Stunned that people didn’t want to spend hundreds of pounds to look like Lingard.

This.

It was also yet more exposure for brand Jesse.
Occasionally see him on Coca Cola ads and whatnot. Bizarre but true.

That's why I was sceptical as to his motivations for making public his family related travails. Instincts are to feel sorry for him, but it had PR job written all over it.

Let's face it, he's had ample time to turn things around. But instead of having faith in his abilities as a footballer, he concentrated on managing his decline.

Done ridiculously well out of it.

The avatar of our recent lowered standards.

He should have played as many games for us as Kieran Richardson.

I’m struggling to recall a bigger fraud in all my time supporting United. Not the worst player, but almost certainly the worst player to make an actual career here.

He was in the sense that he played as much as he did, for so long.

He was the epitome of average and we all seemed to just accept it as ok. He had the occasional worldie and that decent spell under Jose when he bagged a few goals over a short spell, but he was otherwise an anonymous or mediocre in an area of the pitch that required something more.

modern version of The Brand. although i don't think he launched a failed clothing range days before you play the dippers away.
