Is the great man actually coming to the game tomorrow and if so anybody know if the club are planning..?

I doubt he could be any slower in midfield than O'Shea.

But it would be fantastic to have my all-time great footballer in the stadium.

Default Don't see how anyone can dispute that he was the greatest player ever !

Sure Pele won more..

But Maradona actually made the difference, not just for Argentina in 86, but for Napoli, where he'd single handedly cancel out 3-4 world class players on the other side..

I'd say DiStefano and Bestie are next in line.

i meant the fact that we gave lovable gazza a standing ovation when he played in that munich benfit match, no comparison in ability. without going into a "what if" debate who knows, maybe gazza could have become the greatest player in history. but what he did was on par with what shearer did and i don't think he'll get a standin ovation any time soon.
