New contract for Kiko

Federico Macheda has signed a four-year deal that is set to keep him at Manchester United until June 2014.

The 18-year-old striker scored a stunning injury-time winner on his debut against Aston Villa in April.

"Everyone at the club recognises his fantastic talent - we hope to see that develop in the next years," manager Sir Alex Ferguson told the club website.

The Italian has scored two goals in 10 appearances for United, who are currently second in the Premier League.

good stuff. kiko's a strange one, all the physical tools and sometimes shows some really nice skills. other times he looks a bit short of ideas with his movement. be interesting to see how he develops because for 18 he's at an impressive level already.
