Disastrous team selection looking at it closer.

Dont see where the fluency will come from. Ah well, lets see how it begins.

Scholes, and Giggs starting against dynamic Spurs where theyll get overrun - Park with no goal threat starting over Nani.

will not play on the left, surely?

headless chicken defending against lennon?

or is it ando's first man-to-man job from fergie? "yer disnae ha' ter think, laddie... just stack to wee bastid".

palacios vs scholes will be sad to watch. palacious will rout across scholes. fergie has gone mad.

is fletch on the bench? i see no reason why he isnt starting. huddlestone and palacios will dominate the middle of the park.

just noticed fletcher is in the team.

god knows why he picked scholes against a midfield like spurs.

it will also mean anderson will be out of position. then outwide we have the attacking threat of park to feed balls through to the front men.

if guardian are correct, I can see a 4-3-3 scholes, anderson and fletcher in the midfield 3, giggs, berbs and rooney interchanging upfront.

But what has happened to carrick? he is dropped yet again. on the bench today!

Edit : guardian says o shea starts at left back and evans is on the bench. both nani and valencia on the bench

Ok then, lets just pretend theres nothing deeply wrong with United playing a game in September against Spurs and putting out a line up showing too much respect to them when we should be going for it.

Looks more likely. I was struggling to understand how that last side would work.

I fancy that with a lean towards 4-3-3

the side in guardian and sporting life seems to be like a 4-3-3

I hope its not 4-4-2 with ando on left.

Spurs have a 100% record, haven't lost at home in 20 odd games, yeah what a bag of shit they are. Let's play 2 at the back and 8 forwards and really batter them. Christ there's some no nothing £#%&!ers on here

Looks like a 4-3-3 to me as well, no way he'd play Fletcher wide right in this game I reckon.
