Default Ruud van Nistelboss

Taking charge at PSV next season.

Could imagine Ronaldo's face if he joined us instead.

Wishing him the best of luck. Great to see a black manager being given a chance at the highest level.

His beard intrigues me. He looks half like one of those people you see on a Nat Geo documentary who have hair all over their faces, you know the type, comes from a dirt door village somewhere in Peru, is shunned by the locals and sells twigs by the side of the road to feed himself but ends up being flown to America for treatment.

With treatment:

Without treatment:

Odd.

Good skills Pop, he needs to just give over dying it, or do away with the beard.

They announced in February he was leaving at the end of the season as his contract was ending.

Are we talking about the current PSV boss? Point is that a few on here were saying Ajax/United wouldn’t announce a managerial change during Ajax’s title run in. PSV have done just that.

Tin hat is still under contract until 22/23. Roger Schmidt at PSV is contracted until end of 21/22 and in February the club announced they hadn’t agreed an extension so he would be leaving.

So they are very different scenarios - one might not be leaving - one was.

Not exactly the same, of course, but doesn’t give much weight to the notion that managerial changes are disruptive.

PSV could have waited to announced RVN to avoid it affecting their title ambitions, but they didn’t.

Jesus, there are ZERO similarities.....

Roger Schmidt's contract was up, RVN has been there for years, He coached the under-19s team from 2018 to 2021 before being appointed the head coach of jong PSV, the club's reserve team....if anything it could give them a boost ..

It's an internal promotion...
