From there, they’ll sign better because they can promise PL football and REAL start of the ‘project’.

Signing big players has a compounding effect too. City started smaller, it wasn’t Aguero and De Bruyne. It’s was Shay Given and Wayne Bridge. Then you have that slightly bigger profile In Robinho and it starts to have an effect. Then it was Tevez, Adebayor, Vieira. It builds… It took them a few years and a change of manager. And they were starting from a better position than Newcastle now.

They’re signing what they need for now and nobody cares now that city bought Kelvin Etuhu in that first summer.

Newcastle will get there. It’ll just take a while.
£#%&! off

They're getting relegated...

Could’ve had Jonah and Lingard for that.

Interesting match-up when we play them, McFred vs Belly.

Auba move to Barca looking like it could be off...

Looks like he has done an Odemwingie as he is already there.

Probably still happen, though.

40 million for Dele Alli?! Seriously?

How is he worth anywhere near that.

Amazes me how some clubs can sign about 4 players on deadline day and yet we struggle to get a sniff of a single player all month.

Club is run by absolute clowns.

£40m?

It’s a free transfer and £10m after 20 PL appearances as an add on from what I’ve read?

We’re not even trying. We’re shifting players and reducing the wage bill wherever possible.

Lingard looks to be off to Newcastle. I don’t know why United don’t do what Spurs have done with Alli and give him a free with an add on. Just get him out.

Same with Pogba, Mata and Jones.

Because Grealish is 'worth' 100 and Chris Wood is 'worth' 25.

It's all in performance related bonuses, so unlikely Spurs will see much of that £40m

Isn't that exactly what United tried to do but Newcastle said no?

So we’re going to lose Martial, Lingard, Beek and Greenwood and the club STILL won’t green-light any kind of deal.

Yeah it’s the bringing in better quality thing they’re not doing very well. We’re £#%&!ed IMHO.
