Met him at a Christmas party where he was a guest speaker three or four years ago.

Seemed to have a very weak bladder that evening. Also liked a cigarette.

Did he tell the story about the palace game with Robbo and Hughes?

Yes. I posted it on here actually.

Robson wasn't even there at the time.

Was absolutely immense when he broke through as a teenager Watched most (probably all) of the Old Trafford goals from the Stretford End fence as a kid. Was a great time to be a red.

Maybe the first time Fergie's United really "clicked".

It still took a while, but you always thought they would get there after that.

The semi final at #@&%! Road when Sharpie scored in the last minute was one of the rumest atmospheres I have encountered at a domestic game. Especially when he brought out the shuffle in front of the Leeds scum

Played in my favourite United teams between 91 and 95. Pace, power, great shot and brilliant crosser of the ball.

The last generation of down to earth players. Watching that makes me realise how much I loved united and how much I hate modern footballers.

My favourite memory is playing Villa in an evening game (93 or 94), absolute belter of a match with Sharpe scoring the winner.
