Women who play football

Anyone else find it slightly disturbing?



In college here there's an actual course for women's football. They all takethe thing highly seriously, and stuff - walk around in United, Pool, Madrid shirts and tracksuits etc., and talk about matches they've watched on tv, and all that. I wonder what's the point, tbh.


Oh, and they're all butch-looking, too.

Women don't play football. They run around like girls with a ball.

there can be a tendency for butchness - but I drive through the carnegie (leeds uni sports faculty) heartland on my way home most nights and there are some fit ones in Carnegie team trackies - proly lipstick lezzers

Just sat here doing an assignment, and there's a group of butch girls dressed in Celtic tracksuits chatting about last night's game. "I wish I was as fast as Ronaldo" etc.....

I know her, she used to come and watch our Sunday team as one of her family played for us. She'd have a kick about with us before the start. Tbf, she was shit hot.

Well, lads go into football with the aim that they'll turn professional and make it to the top, if they have the ability; obviously, the majority never make it, but what, realistically, are girls looking to get out of it? I know there's women's teams at some clubs, but, I dunno, there's some girls here who are awfully out of shape, and quite clearly are only doing it for the sake of doing a course.
