Jesus Christ.
It’s not just the injuries either. They never look tired, jaded. Even the greatest teams ever start to flag towards May if they’re competing on all fronts.

We always tended to have a bit of a blip around March time. I always attributed it to the fact we tended to be a bit relentless between November - Feb. It was usually the time we’d take control in the title race.

I think it’s probably easier to make yourself fit for a champions league semi final etc, than to play through the pain to get @#%&!ted by Chelsea.

Oh i don't doubt there's a fair bit of 'selective fitness' going on. As you say when you're going for it on all fronts, nobody wants a game off.

But then as Stranger said - they play full throttle virtually every game, sprint to every ball, on the front foot... and they just don't seem to have blips.

I’m pretty sure every team dope but those @#%&!s have some new cutting edge shit, It’s the only explanation. No way can a team look so fresh and have zero injures while still going strong in 4 comps. They’re up to their £#%&!ing eyeballs on the juice nqat.
