d***head whose car ended in the Mersey was contacted by GMP informing him they had located his car.

The d*** replied " its ok I know where it is"

When we went through the motions to retrieve his now dead car it had moved 1/2 a mile downstream.

How the f*** he got away with that I will never know.

I was suggesting you request a duplicate from dvla, but that might cost more than the car is worth

My fears, I may have to talk to the w**** and ask its whereabouts.

Of course the answer will be "I have never seen it"
