The nearest thing I’ve seen to any sort of actual criticism of them. Although he fails to mention that one of the major reasons nobody cares is that spending untold billions just makes the trophies far less of an impressive achievement.

If they were there on merit, through shrewd decisions and producing players over many years, everyone would hate them. Because they would be bouncing around the champ and lower reaches of the PL, and maybe even out of business if left to their own devices, nobody takes what they’re doing seriously, especially because absolutely everyone knows they’re cheating.

A Leeds fan I know actively hopes they win it every year turning it into a no-contest purely because it’s what the Premier League deserve with their “greed is good” mentality.

I just can't take city seriously having grown up in the 90's.
