Playground games, ffs.

Lingard probably breakdancing out of shot, too.

Nowhere near good enough, but he’s about the only player right now who is making the most of their ability. If the rest of the squad had his attitude and work rate, we’d be a hell of a lot better.

Night and day compared to the horror show at the weekend. Like a man possessed. Covered every blade of grass.

still needs binning off, but no doubt the @#%&!s in charge will give him a pay rise and extend his deal for another 10 years

£#%&! him

That moment in the second half summed him up.

Nice bit of play in midfield, completely £#%&!s up the pass, but works really hard to win it back.

He’s a likeable little guy and he always puts a shift in. Resilient too. He knows he’s shit and unpopular, but keeps coming back for more.

His limitations will always hold us back.

Can't fault his attitude and he's down the list on stuff to fix/improve for me Clive. Even if/when we get back to the very top Fred would still be an good player to have in the squad.

Definitely. This is the issue with a lot them: it’s not that they’re bad players to have around, they just shouldn’t be central to us.

Lindelof, Shaw/Malacia, Fred, MacBeth are good back up options.

Both goals were classic Fred. An awful attempt at a shot deflects and in, while a terrible “shot” on goal breaks for Bruno to finish. He did though bring a lot of chaos to the opposition game and got well stuck in. Maybe that can work: Fred sticking a foot in and Casemiro cleaning up .

he's the new frank lampard.

incidentally, his first shot was on target. and the second wasn't a shot, it was an attempt to knock the ball past the defender.

his best game ever isn't good enough.

He's good when he's being destructive but when he's trying to be creative he's a nightmare.

Can't fault the lad's effort.

If football was just running around trying to get the ball back, he'd be world class. Unfortunately for Fred, he has to do something with it when he gets it back.
