Sorry for wanting us to kick on from last season and being dissapointed that we havent.

Going to need a lot more points this season to make top 4 imo and not sure making up 14 points will happen again. Be nice for once to have a decent summer and get off to a good start but thats already out the window.

Back on topic City look good for the win, thank £#%&!.
Alright blue

Would’ve been interesting had Saiss not gifted them a penalty for £#%&! all early doors
This stage it's all about getting points on the board, I don't think anyone is going to have a 100% match fit squad.

Indeed. Everything that could go against Saturday did. We get an early goal and it’s a different game.

He needs to sort out the slow as £#%&! starts, it’s every £#%&!ing game.

One of the most abject performances I can ever remember from us - up there with losing to Burnley at the start of this year, or to Norwich under LvG. But there's nothing to worry about

i'm far more worried about the long-standing pattern of us going behind at home and then it turning into a 90 minute slog of slow, unproductive, sideways football. It's a huge issue and happened at least half a dozen times last season and the season before, and the season before....

Out complete inability to play with any tempo or aggression is what is going to stop us competing at a higher level.

We had 75% of the ball and did absolutely nothing with it.

Because our players aren’t very good. Look at the quality on show at the weekend. Compare what Kane and Son did to our forwards. If you hadn’t seen the team sheet would you have even known Rashford was playing? Lindelof gets the headlines, but that could have been any of them, they were all shit except van der Beek when he came on. We’re not good enough for Martial and Fernandes to be off form and Matic to be out. No way Mata would have done worse than James.

It’s worrying because our better players are dropping off rather than our lesser players rising up.

Yep.

One match, and a bizarre performance but Utd will get better. Also think they will sign a couple yet. It shouldn't be because of that result but it will make them do business.

I think Saturday was a game where we could have done with fans kn the ground too. Players needed it.
