Be nice to beat Everton Saturday then we can sit back and watch them two kick lumps out of each other and find a way to be happy with any result. Whoever finishes above City will win it imo, hence why them losing is better. |

When UEFA banned them there was first glimer of hope that the cheats would see all of their fraudalent success formally explunged from the reocrd books, along with that illegally built squad torn a part. But they decided to cry to CAS who for whatever reason overruled the UEFA who then backed down, even if UEFA might (or might not) have had case to actually have its original ban up held against those cheats. Which would also have allowed EFL, EPL and FA to insert their own sanctions against the cheats,, although we never saw any move in that regard ever since Der Speigel published their first article about them and how they cheated their way to the top. But that was probably not surprise since the english football authorites have been cowards since day one when mansour arrived in east manchester at the beginning of the 2008/09 season, following lose vs Middlesborugh 1-8, in the final game of the pervious season. Anyone with bit of common sense could see that Mansour's arrival wouldn't be good for the game and it has driven up the transfer market further (it was bad when Roman arrived) but also tickets for fans and TV subcription, now that this bubble has been seriously hit with the financial catstrope following the pandemic but also with Brexit as there was next to no transfer activity this january and previous summer was not much better, but I think that the pandemic will end at some point and the fallout from that will correct itself somewhat in coming years but Brexit is perment and we are yet to see all the consiquences that will have on English football in long run, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it would make it harder for mansour to continue his ugly sport washing exercices with that club from east manchester. Its hard to say what the future holds but who knows maybe mansour will be gone one day, whether forced out or leaving on his own but in the mean time fraudiola and the cheats are best ignored. |
