Fergie used to say he was skeptical if a selling club didn’t put up much of a fight. Red flags, or words to that effect.

both players are up in age(29) but i don't think it would be bad at all to sign Costa and Thiago for 30m each. If you can get Costa on loan then you snap him up for sure whether he is injury prone or not b/c you won't be asking him to play 40 games a season. When he's fit and healthy, he's really damn good.
