So that's Liverpool, City and £#%&!ing Newcastle guaranteed top 4 spots for the forseeable.

Not that the Champions League is any of Utd's business anymore.

Its just unfortunate that Brexit isn'´t about to clean up all those foreign owners in English football being it Kroenke, Glazers, Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Roman, Srivaddhanaprabha, John W. Henry etc

Newcastle a more attractive takeover proposition than us, FFS.

Burn everything to the ground.

Spend 500mil to buy the club, then put a billion in on players over the next few years....or spend 5billion to buy united and then a billion on players over the years.

You only buy united if you want the name and the name means less now but costs more.

Buying Newcastle literally is shopping at Sports Direct for football clubs.

It's a big name from the past with a very loyal fan base. Restore it to glory and you'd have a cost effective winner on your hands.

5 Billion to buy us is taking the piss... no one, not even a mega rich oil baron is going to part with that much dosh for our club.... history or no history.

It's up to the fans to devalue the club then. Make the brand toxic, accept it'll hurt. It would have been a helluva lot cheaper to do so 15 years ago but we are where we are.

Was looking at a few Newcastle boards, apparently this happens every January, Ashley leaks a load of %@#$&!s to the press to divert attention from him buying nobody in the transfer window.

As opposed to our board, where we go for Haaland, Fernandes, Islam Slimani, and the tea lady's son
