Meanwhile Arnold stands outside the Nou Camp screaming De Jong's name like Partridge in a car park.

Reported as no reference to De Ligt in your post, Mr Conjecture.

Bayern get their work done very well, don’t they? We’d have to pay 100+ for this guy.

They’re in a better position of power. Bayern as a football club is probably more attractive to most footballers than us.

They win the league every year and challenge for the champions league 2 in every three years. Footballers wanting to play at the top level challenging for the best trophies, Bayern is the best place. Transfers are easier when the player wants to move a little bit more

I also don’t doubt there is some snidey cash envelopes behind the scenes with everyone else but us.

Surprised Juve let him go.

I’ve heard he hasn’t exactly been pulling up any trees over there, but with Bonucci being old as £#%&! and Chiellini already gone I thought they’d build their defence around him?

Juve replacing him with Bremer from Torino, most Juve fans seem to think they’ve upgraded.

Juventus have signed Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer from city rivals Torino on a five-year contract in a deal worth 41m euros (£34.8m). The 25-year-old replaces Netherlands international Matthijs de Ligt, who joined Bayern Munich on Tuesday. Bremer made 110 appearances for Torino after joining from Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro in 2018. He started 33 of their 38 league games last season and was named Serie A's best defender for the 2021-22 campaign.
Just like that. Sign the highest rated defender in the league 24 hours after letting Ben from Eastenders go. Utd meanwhile.....

Was an odd move at the time, thought it was fairly obvious his agent was just parking him there until Bayern, Real or Barca wanted a piece.

Pretty sure it took longer than 24 hrs, and unlikely there was an issue over deferred wages.
