ETH said he brought him in at Ajax as a defender to give the midfield a brain... Problem he has here, we're low IQ in both areas.

Can see the new guy playing in-between the lines as DMC, even if its just for his first season until ETH realises that Michael Schumacher currently possess more brain activity than our midfield and defence combined.

I saw that. I thought that meant he would be looking for him to link with the DCM he has yet to sign (De Jong or ANOther). Seeing the interview yesterday I think he will play left centre half of a three.

We need shithousery and aggression on the pitch. We've become a passive team, and Martinez will go a long way to correcting that. We still need that CDM though...

Before yesterday's game he mentioned converting someone from the current squad into that position, that's if they can't bring in FDJ (or someone in the exact same mould).

I was hoping that he was thinking this guy, and not one of McFred.
