Default Zidane Iqbal

What did everyone think of him yesterday?

Looks happy to receive the ball under pressure I was impressed.

Didn't see yesterday, but heard good things.

Not been many British Asians that have made it at the top level. Would be very nice to see.

Him and Charlie Savage more than held their own.
Both wanted the ball, used it well etc.

I expect them both to get a decent loan somewhere this season

Iqqers looked good, needs to bulk up a bit, savage won't make it at this level....

Zidane looks good technically but physically he's miles off. Not too sure about loaning him out, be far better to keep him learning his trade under ETH.

Savage is a poor player, championship at very best.

Loans are shit. You lose control of development and often their managers, who are probably under pressure to begin with, don’t have the appetite to persist through growing pains so they get benched. Let them learn from ten Hag and impress him in training with their hunger and effort and they might actually get a shot.

I’d keep him and have him on the bench wherever possible.

9 subs and 5 available this year isn’t it?

This.

He’ll get plenty of opportunity’s in the cup and europa imo.

Looks a proper talent, Savage played well too but I think he’ll call just short of making it here.

Loan him to Ajax as a sweetener for the Martinez deal.
