Default Michael Carrick

I don't always agree with MOM decisions on Sky but with this one I certainly did. I thought he was excellent. Good distribution both long and short, always available, put his foot in, shielded the back 4 superbly and broke things up to start our attacks. He is getting better and better and is at this rate of progress going to be a superb player for us.

It was recently suggested he's the most useless player at the club, surely only a lobotomised idiot would believe this?

No, if we'd changed to 3-5-2 we'd have got hammered due to the total confusion caused by playing a system none of the players know how to play.

disagree bedders . essien wouldnt have got all the space he was getting and we would have closed down lampard and ballack alot better than we did in the second half .. its all about opinions ..

the fact that the players are tactically clueless is down to the management

fergie failed to change things - thats his job - he shouldn't be paid this week

He doesn't have the players to change things, which is his fault so to some extent you are correct.

I'm sure it is a piece of piss for a bunch of fat boozers, at the very top levelthough it isn't and basically doesn't work anyway, as evidenced by no top team playing it.

If we'd have kept 442 instead of switching to 433 yesterday we would have had a better chance of winning

carricks reverse pass to rooney down by the tunnel was excellent, he is growing with every game

carrick is improving.

and tbh im not crying that we have a decent midfielder in the squad...

he interceptions were great yesterday and his passing is good.
love the fact when he is in possession we wont lose the ball as he will find a man wether forwards or backwards...credit where it is due.

would love to see mroe of a goal threat but im happy he is improving.
