he was never going to get this group of players to play the kind of football he's known for. we did it 1x against Crystal Palace for 45 mins and after that the players thought to themselves "£#%&! that, it's too hard" and then all then all the leaks about Ralf's training session not being good enough started happening

And I don't believe it is. How many people were bothering with Rangnick before he got the United gig? Someone mentioned that Chelsea might have been interested but for the most part Rangnick was in the football wilderness. He spends 5 minutes at United, decides everyone is unfit and unmotivated and gets the Austria job. We all know his work is done at United as soon as the Palace game is over - no one is consulting him over anything. Two wages, job done. He's a £#%&!ing fraud and he boils my piss.
