Thought Spurs were very impressive. Never once looked shaken and should have nicked it at the end. Son is probably my favourite player in the league. Joy to watch.

Son is just a brilliant player. Kane gets more plaudits, but the pair of them are outstanding. Big game player too.

They set up very well again like they did at city (a dark dark day..) and created plenty on the counter. Funny to see Klopp criticise them, because it completely mischaracterised how they played. It wasn’t just some park the bus and hope for a 0-0, they counter attacked with pace and numbers. Solid at the back and clinical on the counter: the foundation of 99.9% teams. Seems Klopp only wants to play just like them. And then lose.

Every year we have some scenario where people expect a team to down tools but it never happens. When Liverpool win it will be because they’re better. Much better too. They don’t need any favours to beat Villa.
