It's a part of what's wrong with this team. Play shit, picked for next game. There's no consequence for bad performances. Pogba plays shit, gets sent off. Back in the team first available chance. Maguire, Shaw, Fred, McT, AWB - first names on the team sheet regardless.

Looks like I need to swap Jones and Bailly around...

If Jones stays fit he'll end up looking like a revelation just because he's an island of effort in a sea of lethargy.

1. Varane (He's been injured for most of the season, so I haven't really seen
him play enough to rate him)

(I wouldn't be surprised if he finds away to book in the summer if things continue to go south)

2. Lindelof - 7
3. Bailly - 6.5
4. Jones - He's only played one game in two years?
5. Maguire - 7

This is why we need to play 3 at the back

We can get some solid combos there - and also Shaw on thé left of a 3.

Personally I’d have Varane, Bailly and Jones with Lindelof in midfield.

We need to stop the rot.

And drop the rest replace with under 23

If mediocre players can get huge wages for just showing up then why should they put the effort
in. What is it called when you make money doing
Nothing?

If Maguire and Varane had played every game together so far, reckon they would already be a pretty formidable partnership. The rest are good back-ups - as long as Maguire/Varane gel and can play at least 80% of games together. If not, we'll continue to look dreadful with that midfield in front of them.

Yup.

This season is a write off already.

We can’t just expect the players to turn up in the Chanpions League either

Get Elanga some game time.

Personally I’d give de Beek a run too.

Just sheesh - it comes to something when we have to rely on our centre backs.

Seriously think it’s the area we need to build on.
