Actually that's a good point

It's understandable to a point though with him. Won the FA Cup and gets binned via the media the day after.

Tbf, he's complained more about Woodward, the Glazers, and the general culture they've created of running United more as a commercial enterprise than a football club.

He clearly had great respect for United as an institution, unlike Mourinho who talked publicly about us supposedly having a lack of success in Europe.

If LvG, then you're right. Everything he's said is true.

If Mourinho, then yes, technically what he said after the Sevilla game was factual, but the mere fact that he said it, especially at that point in time, tells you everything about the bloke. It was all about Jose Mourinho, and it was a total disrespect of Manchester United. No manager of the club should be talking like that, ffs.

The issue is that *every* managerial stint he has had, whatever the success before then, ends in pretty much the same way.

And one staffer has told ESPN of a moment in Turin, following United's 2-1 Champions League win against Juventus in November 2018, when his ongoing respect for United became clear.

"We had just beaten Juve with two late goals and Jose Mourinho, the manager at the time, went onto the pitch and started to goad the Juventus fans by cupping his ear to the noise," the United source said. "A lot of the players were pissed off with [Mourinho] because it seemed like he was making the win about him rather than the team and Cristiano was furious with him, too.

"He walked past and said, '[Mourinho] doesn't have the class to manage Manchester United.'''

Mad that those sniping at Ole, while the club is in the best place it’s been in nearly a decade. Exciting signings, football dripping with goals, back to back top 4 finishes and a young up and coming squad who all seem happy to be here and in it to win it,, are the same ones that were praising Mou while he was slagging the players, the club, the fans and playing the worst shit on a stick football seen at OT in my lifetime. Odd.
