Some will need to be sold to generate the ffp balance required to make 8 signings. Would agree with all of those. There’s a couple will disappear on frees on top of that too. If no new owners we’d be lucky to get shut of 4 of them.

Realistic sales will be Maguire, Henderson, Telles, Elanga and The Scottish Player. We’re stuck with the £#%&!ing rest.

not so easy to get rid of players.

hard to believe jones is still on the books.

henderson, jones, maguire, williams, vdb, malacia, telles, bailly, tuanzebe....

A big chunk of the squad could be sold for me.

We are going in the right direction and a few more signings we will be better but whilst a lot of these players remain we will continue to see these types of performances.

Our goalie is our most experienced player in terms of playing for United. State of him.

Jonah and Axel on frees, Dave too hopefully

Telles, Henderson and Bailly have to be gone, surely.

Need to get money for a few with some value.. Maguire, Dalot/AWB, Fred, Martial, Sancho..

Loans for Pellistri, Amad, Laird, Mejbri, Fernandez, McNeil etc. get their experience/value up.

We need to start seeing these players as assets and potential money generators, it can still be a ‘family’ club while knowing when to tell them to move the £#%&! out.

I wouldn’t be signing Sabitzer tbh, we need better.

That tweet about ‘monetising players who aren’t long term first team etc.’ is £#%&!ing mind blowing. What the £#%&! have they been doing? They honestly seem to have been operating under the illusion that every player is here for life

It needs a big turnover in one window to get us back to the top again, all this piecemeal %@#$&!s gets us nowhere.

It’s not like Ferguson wouldn’t £#%&! a player off at the drop of a hat. Even Beckham wasn’t above getting binned.

Hopefully this manager is the one who gets similar power to act.

Been saying that for ages. They’re talking 3 starters in the summer. Problem with that being that Varane, Cas and Eriksen will need replacing the summer after

They need to get about 10 in. They don’t all have to go straight into the team, but should be on the cusp.

What Rod Thornley said about Gill in the podcast fits perfectly. Him going £#%&!ed us every bit as much as Fergie going.

The hardest job in this hypothecial scenario is limiting it to 8.

There's so much deadwood that will leave regardless and we wont notice. The most important thing is to get rid of the players who we rely on but have constantly let us down.

Maguire, DDG, Elanga, VdB, Martial, Sancho, AWB and Weghorst would be my 8. If they were all replaced with real quality we would be challlenging. Unlikely to happen though, even with new owners.

I'd forgotten some of the players listed by others were still at the club I genuinely thought we'd sold both Telles and Bailly.

This is all correct. Obviously add to that the horse going back to whichever field we led him from. And Lindelof - I don't think he's the worst reserve CB in the world, but again would not be arsed one bit if he left.

Because he’d been phoning it in for over two years. Compare that to Jones, Ddg, Martial etc
