Not even close to Owen or Smith for me.

Could potentially turn out like Birtles - big fish small pond and not able to deal with the weight of expectation. Might as well use Sanchez if we can't get shot of him.

Different I reckon. Owen was more Sanchez and on his last legs. Reckon Vardy has a few more seasons in him.

He’s a rat. I agree he looks like a typical scrote but Iike when did morals or how players were perceived have an effect on who we signed/played? We have a fair few rats on this current £#%&!ing ship we are sailing. I just want someone quick and nasty who can bag a few in Prem.

Would he score more than Lukaku? Yep.
Would he score more than Rashford? Yep.
Would he score more than Martial? Yep
Would he score more than Linguard and Sanchez added together

I don't have a problem with Vardy but he wouldn't work for us.

His strengths are built on a type of game we haven't played for about 15 years.

If he loses his pace how effective would he be? His game is built around it. Once you hit 32 it tells - even though he is a late developer.

Still worth taking a chance if they want an impact player (see RvP).

Deal.

Please don't compare Vardy to Van Persie again.

Thank you.
