As the man himself said at the weekend - "one game at a time". I hope he heeds his own words

I'm nervous about this game tbh. A lot of physical and mental energy will have been spent by the whole squad in the prep leading up to, and the match on Wednesday.

Plus Hughes can £#%&! off the shit bag.

Great chance for Berbs to make his mark, though

Anyhoo...

PIG
JOS/Fabio
Rio
Vida
JOS/Fabio
Anderson
Scholes
Valencia
Nani
Berbs
Cheech (unless cheech is going to play Tuesday, in which case, Owen)

Should be enough to do Fulham at OT.
I'll go with that, but Smalling for Rio.

EDIT: Whoops, sorry Bors!

He'll put his strongest team out, we'll blitz them early then enjoy a stroll in the sun for the last hour.

£#%&!ing no chance is there?

No doubt another afternoon spent in the grip of fear...

Tbf, Berbs has made a pretty big mark this year. He was brilliant when he came on last week too.

As for the fielding the 'strongest side', that may consist of players who are fresher. We've got some bodies back and each game is vital, so let's use them! Oh, and I don't even know what the strongest side is.

Obertan seems a million miles away from the bench right now, never mind the starting 11.

Damien Duff a doubt for Fulham too. He'll be a big miss for them if he's misses out.

I'm gonna curse it, but I don't see any problems tomorrow. We're absolutely buzzing at the moment.

Played 90 minutes for the reserves last night too, so £#%&! all chance of him playing.

threw him in as a curve ball. expect it'll be hernandez, with valencia on the right and either fabio or park on the left depending on the full-back situation. one of brown or o'shea will start, especially if rio doesn't, cus of zamora i'd imagine. wouldn't see any problem at all in obertan playing in this game btw and his showing last night makes his case stronger not weaker i would've thought.

Maybe. Generally though, if someone plays for the reserves in the week and is expected to appear for the 1st team on the Saturday, they only tend to play 45 minutes, 60 at the outside, as Anderson did, just playing the 2nd half or so. Obers played about 84 minutes, which would make it unlikely he'll feature tomorrow I would've thought.

I suspect Gibson will play, allowing essential rest for the other midfielders.

Not the best case scenario. I really hoping that Berbs can have a stormer and take the pressure off the rest of the team
