Outside of United it’s Zidane for me. I can remember just being mesmerized how he seemed to float above the surface, he could throw the whole team with one simple shift of his shoulders
Probably .... the only one that sticks in the memory was ruddy tho for some reason .

That ac side was th £#%&!ing dogs . First fully complete football side I ever watched .

Real circa 2000 were immense - goals from every position.

So yeah robbo .
They were so far ahead of us in that game it was unreal. Really soft second half gave us some respectability.

We'd finished second that season too.

Gullit getting good-naturedly booed as he wouldn't respond to "Ruudy, give us a wave"

Doesn't get mentioned because of fat Ronaldo but that night Roberto Carlos was completely unplayable. They couldn't get near the baldy bastard.

That dismantling of Barca in 1994, still one of the most awesome things I have ever seen.

So hard to say.

For United, Ronaldo, Scholes, Giggs, Keana and Cantona all up there of course.

Non-United players: Zidane, Ronaldo, Redondo, Raul, Messi, Seedorf and Maldini are all up there. Impossible to pick one.

Wtf! Didn’t see this subby.

Sorry pal, didn’t find the concept riveting. Ironically I find ones like the OP a bit more interesting. Someone who surprised you/was better than you realised, rather than the usual obvious names.

Bloke has seen Zidane play. Says he was class.

“Ronaldo, another good one.”

Totteh btw.
