Default Chelsea moving to Battersea ?

I would be interested to see that work out, purely because it would make an iconic stadium and a great place to go and beat them.

Ooops - wrong part of the forum

although one could say it is related to culture in some way...

Looks brilliant that. Is it really exactly the right size though? Hmmm.

And I don't even like Pink Floyd.

Could be an absolute peach of a stadium, but would prefer it to have a higher capacity. Great place to stage boxing - imagine hanging giant images of the boxers, on those towers

No way would any set of fans turn that down

Battersea Powerstation is structurally £#%&!ed. The towers are diseased and slowly crumbling - realistically any new development would have to see them removed. However, their architecutral merit is one of the main reasosns why the building is listed.

Redevelopment would require their retention which means that they would have to be demolished and rebuilt. This is what makes it such an economically unviable scheme and why it remains undeveloped

that's why it's perfect for roman and his billions... if he's "in to" architecture and shit, he'll spend whatever it takes to get what he wants. he'll treat it like building his own palace won't he, or yacht, and he doesn't seem to do those things by half.

could look really smart
