Never gave it a second thought really but if teenagers in Northwich knew something was wrong, there's no way the likes of Gradi didn't.
There's an interview with someone on the guardian website who said when he was playing for Crewe junior teams the opposition were always winding them up about being nonced. He was being nonced at the time. Madness

Didn't the C4 programme also highlight that kids were abused on the maine rd pitch when Bennell wanted to 'sunbathe'?

At the very least ciddy and crewe catastrophically failed in their duty of care, surely grounds for legal action / big damages claims by victims and relatives, no?

Just read it. I briefly remembered him when that Cilit Bang advert came out because the guys name was similar. It was definitely well known in the 90s. Staggering that Crewe allowed it to go on unchecked. Gradi is definitely a wrong un too.

Edit, not Cilit Bang, Slim Fast

Take all the BBC nonces in the 70s for example. Now all the football nonces too.

It’s a problem but obviously we’re not allowed to talk about their race.
Probably because race isn’t the reason for the issue.

watched the doc earlier. so grim but not as grim and news worthy as a bad date with Aziz Ansari. Awkward sex that you consented to but are embarrassed about is much more important than kids being molested and damaged forever.

£#%&! those kids and please help me out on patreon!
