Fair chance financial markets fall off a cliff in the winter which would reduce public value dramatically while rates continue to rise putting pressure on the debt.
Given we're further away from CL places than ever before + they're all spent out (/the starting advantage we had over other clubs in revenue generation has all-but evaporated) it would make it a more sensible time than ever to get out on their part. Strategically they have been absolutely clueless at operating the club. All execs involved would top their careers out at Blackburn in a normal world |

This means nothing
The naivety is worrying The glazers won’t sell up out of the goodness of their hearts They will play games and do what they need to do to continue to feather their nest This isn’t for the good of the club in the first instance and we need to accept that Until they go and they are replaced by someone far richer and financially solvent the problem remains |

The only way they carry on is if our form improves from 'we've just got battered by Brighton and Brentford' to 'at least we'll get Europa League this season'.
If we carry mediocre form into the World Cup, and then hover around 5th & 6th until the end of the season. then they can carry on milking it and have no problems with being called @#%&!s every so often. If we don't win one of our next two games then shit's on. There will always be value in the club, but if we're shit it will drop. No Europe will hit us financially, sponserships will decrease, not being able to attract the most followed footballers in the world to pose in our new kits every season will cost us financially. If we're will lingering at the bottom of the table after the Southampton game, then what are the chances we will be more valuable in a years time than we are now? Edit: Not saying I want us to lose or draw the next two games either. I never have and never will want us to go into a game and drop points. |
