In that instance it’s fine because it came off another part of his body first. When Sociedad got a penalty at OT after the ball ricocheted on to Martinez’s arm off his thigh, it didn’t matter.

100% was going to say imagine if we scored that goal.

But regardless, our reaction was poor.

Didn’t Rashford do something similar v Everton and it was filled out?

Yeah, handball but we don't get those. It's like £#%&!ing Boro in the FA Cup last season ffs. Pisses me off how the decisions that we don't get get zero airtime.

Anyway, Dave is an absolute liability. How can you now be able to kick a ball away from your goal and out of danger? He invites this shit every game.

That penalty against Sociedad was baffling.

It’s handball, but you can see why VAR can’t get involved. We’ve known that one for a while. Too much emphasis is on VAR now. Refs needs to do their job and see stuff like that in the first place.

I’m convinced they just bottle stuff knowing full well VAR is there. Meanwhile, they only intervene if it’s clear and obvious.

We don't do ourselves any favours at all. We have a great start and then just invite teams back into the game with our sloppiness and wasteful passes.

Great strike from the betis lad but he had a week to line that up and get a strike in. Why do teams seem to get so much time and space in our box and yet we seem incapable of finding any in theirs?

So that’s Dalot subbed at half time twice in the last three games he’s started. What’s the lesson there?

We should be dominating the ball and putting them on the back foot not going end to end all the time. It's too chaotic and it puts us under far too much pressure

Good news is we should have plenty of takers for Dalot.

Not shocked Dalot got hooked. No idea why he’s been picking him.

Been bang off it since the World Cup. And he wasn’t that good to start with.

He’s the definition of average. He looked decent for a spell when AWB had decided to stop being a footballer. That’s about it.

Bruno has played well. Kept it simple.

Fred would be a really good player if he never had to pass.
