Default Wayne Rooney - Extended SSN Interview

On today at twelve thirty. Repeated at half three, six, seven and eight.

Amongst the questions to be asked are why he wanted to leave Utd two years ago.

his hand will be exhausted from touching his face so often and at the end of the day he'll say absolutely nothing.

Never mind it's a prerecorded interview he done with Richard Keys earlier in the week

Keysie loves Wayne more than MJ so they'll be no hard questions or anything of note to take away from it

tried to listen to it, why I don't know, waste some time. Waste of time it was but only about 1 minute, he's barely able to string a sentence and what he does say makes ryan giggs sound interesting.

yeah, I just eh, put it in the far corner. Em. yeah, it was 1-0 and then em, it was great.

Him saying he turned up 7lbs overweight in 09 is being described as a revelation on the BBC website ffs

Key point made by Rooney is that he knew almost immediately that he'd made a mistake when the statement about him wanting to leave was released. This is important because it cuts away some of the bullshit that that was used for by United's critics. He pointed out how wrong he'd been about the squad at the end of the 10/11 season already, and now he's reaffirmed that.

Looks like he'll be here for a bit yet...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...r-request.html

Which, despite him not looking/playing the best at the minute, I'm glad about.

Is there not almost an annual season "blip" with Rooney?
Followed by the British media turning on the guy they've been building up as the white pele since he was a teen?

It's tiresome.

Rooney will get his fitness and sharpness back and everyone will be swooning over his combination with RVP by Christmas.

That Utd will be out of the CL by that stage is another matter.
