huge win for newcastle away at leeds. looks like they're probably going to stay up at this rate, which is a shame.

Southampton v City is on at 5:30. Not that there's any point in watching any games with City in as they're on another one of their customary 15 game winning streaks, boring everyone to tears.

i see southampton's tactics of taking the lead and then just constantly turning the ball over and not bothering to attack have had the expected result

Just looked at the table for the first time a while. We’re only six behind Chelsea with a game in hand

Spurs have four games in hand to get above them too.

They need to get their shit together or they’ll get dragged into a top four race. They’ll be closer to that than the title anyway.

Southampton have managed to draw 1-1 with City, putting an end to another one of their god-knows-how-long winning streaks.

Watching the scenes of Hasenhuttl punching the air and celebrating like they'd just won the league at the final whistle. It's this kind of mentality that has allowed City to saunter away with the league again. Southampton are 12th in the league, they're not great but they're not exactly lower league level - but city have turned up at their ground and had nigh on EIGHTY £#%&!ing percent of the ball. and southampton's manager and players are acting like a lower league side who've just won a cup tie.

Half the problem with teams when they play this lot is psychological they're routinely just retreating into their shape against them and show absolutely no ambition to get forward. It's infuriating because this City side aren't world beaters they're just very very functional and robotic.

They’re not great, I hate watching them. They’ve absolutely mastered the basics to the nth degree and batter teams into boredom with them.

Whisper it, and I’m not condoning this by any stretch, but the best thing could well be for the dippers to somehow pip them at the post causing Pep’s head to fall off and £#%&! off. That bald, autistic, ocd-football playing drug addict is suffocating the life out of the game.

Hopefully he goes all wobbly after we’ve signed up ETH.

You've got this the wrong way around, no-one used to be scared of them under previous managers nor even in Pep's first season. They averaged 99 points over two seasons and are on course for four titles out of five, they have earnt the right to scare teams in the tunnel. If we could get even 90% of the talent out of our squad we'd do the same.
