Default The Premier League's most under-rated player ?

Your choice can not extend to the erstwhile English League Division One.

Alan Wright.

A, quite simply, phenomenal full back...

ever? Michael Carrick. Absolute mainstay in a side which won numerous league/cup titles, and most of the time he did it with old or shit players next to him. And yet people still say he's useless just because he has no discernible persona.

Think Phil Jagielka is much maligned. Stones has a lot to thank him for if he gets his big move. Everton's defence has gone to pot since he was injured.

Peter Crouch as well, excellent scoring record at every level (22 in 40 England games) I think every defender in the prem gives a sigh of relief when hes not in the Stoke lineup. You can call him all you want but he's a real handful.

Got to be thread of the day this, don't know were the op pulls these from.

Cole, without a shadow of a doubt. Possibly even Scholes in England.
