Wages are a huge misnomer at OT. Nobody is going to be in our first team on £30k a week, unless they’ve come through the ranks and then it will only be temporary.

When their agents are going in to negotiate they know the club is spending £300+m on the wages every year and they want their cut based on the fact that the clubs turnover is generated, primarily, by interest in the players. Our negotiating position is shite, as they are our assets and we want them happy and tied up, particularly now we aren’t the best around, as a result players end up getting whatever they want.

It needs to be stopped and the decks need clearing big time, giving massive deals to Pogba, Rashford and even Bruno is asking for more trouble.
