did you see the stats sky put up pre-game of him versus kane at the same age? he's head and shoulders of where kane was at the same age.

Good half there , looked dangerous on the break and apart from the offside goal restricted spurs

Amazing what happens when you don’t let the opposition just come at you all the time

He's prioritising the strengths of their quality too.

Everyone is being utilised properly.

Get it Rashford and Martial quickly. Let Lingard run that space behind. Give Pogba more freedom. Let Herrera run around to compensate it.

He's identified a weakness in Spurs too.

Ole has calmed Rashford down completely. He's finishing now not just lashing it as hard as possible.

Loved that half even without the goal at the end but that goal was the icing on the cake

Sure we look vulnerable at times due to our front 3 not tracking back so Tripper is getting a lot of space out wide but it’s worth the risk given our attacking threat down the other end

Lingard as the false 9 with Rashford and Martial as wide forwards exploiting the space left by Spurs full backs
Ole not about tactics apparently

Sherwood on my steam, "Lindegard and Jones at the back, Mata just in front of them"

Genius, making Giggs sound intelligent.

Ole. Tactically spot on again.

What a finish from Rashers.

Have to give a lot of praise to Ole & the staff for playing Lingard as a false 9 to stifle Winks, leaving Martial & Rashers to hold their high line & get everyone else narrower - Spurs have crossed & it’s been a little hairy but the approach has warranted the outcome. We’ve had far better chances, if Lingard had some composure to lay it off to Pogba 7 yards out it would be 2-0 & Spurs would be wide open this half.

Continue like that and we’ve got this.

Could do with Matic and deGea sharpening up on their outball.

Spurs looked a bit leggy but you think they’ll get better this half, they have to.

Another goal at least is needed methinks.

Either way we’re much better

A goal from Martial and Matic getting booked would be nice
