"Do you believe the UK should have a monarchy" would give you a far more accurate representation of where people are at. Saying "should it be replaced with X" is a nonsense. I, and many others don't want it repalced with anything. Just gone. You don't even have to have a seperate head of state and head of government.

WRT to the royal family and the queens death interrupting your everyday life, well news flash, you live under a monarchy . I can understand the frustration if countries outside the UK a start cancelling and stalling and such .but within the UK whether you like it or not you live under a monarchy. If you’re happy about her death or pleased or whatever then great, it’s your right but stop throwing the toys out of your pram because other people don’t share the same sentiment..

It's not about being happy she's dead, it's about the ridiculousness that normal life is supposed to stop for a week or two because a 96 year-old figurehead who the vast majority of the population have never met has died. Meanwhile everyone in the media is using this faux sombre tone and acting like a giant asteroid is about to hit the planet.

I'm honestly not happy she's dead regardless of what I think about having a monarchy, however I do think those people who gather at Buckingham Palace to drop off some flowers, and stand around for hours looking mournful are complete weirdos (most of them aren't even scousers).

Most sports aside from football appear to be going ahead this weekend.
