Well Jeff I really fear for united tonight. They come to Germany on the back of successive losses with a mounting injury crisis and their so called big names in poor form

Think playing om the counter might just suit us.

We don’t really have the players for any other game,, atleast not currently with all the injuries

First 5 games of the season has told us the midfield is left with big gaps to cover or seem to be leggy. Need to put numbers and energy into it. Ideally the likes of Amrabat were fit but I think that’s probably the best team he could put out based on who is available .

Maybe he tries garnacho on the right , but garnacho hasn’t show much for his ability to cross on his right foot, more of an inside forward who can cut in and shoot very well.

Bit of square pegs in round holes, Bruno is more a 10, from what I’ve seen of mejbri he is more of an attacking player but he should be able to do ok as a number 8.

Don’t really know what else he can do unless he plays Eriksen as an 8 and Bruno on the RW. Don’t like the idea of having Casemiro and Eriksen as 2 of our midfield 3 anymore or even 2 of our CMs in a 4-2-3-1.

Eriksen was showing his lack of pace to cover ground for the second half of last season and if we are being honest Casemiro hasn’t reached the heights he had before the World Cup. Don’t like the either of two of them together.

Maybe he could drop rashford for garnacho for his piss poor effort recently but it’s a big game , against a big team. You play your best /senior players. Even if they’re off form. I really do wish we had more options, the injuries are handicapping us to what we can do differently to change our fortunes

Hopefully it changes once Amrabat , Mainoo become fit and maybe amad comes back from injury
