Honestly not bothered by it. Raised a smile actually.

Don't rate him.

Good of jem to admit Young and Valencia should not be fullbacks for united. In fact they shouldnt even be at the club.

Standards have been lowered severely if we're gonna say Young has been more than solid in recent weeks. Weird to compare him to Lingard who has always been a valuable talent.

With Young and Valencia as fullback we will continue to have issues playing good, consistent football. We're not following the basics.

Darmian has been great whenever he's had a run in the team. Will end up at Juve, Napoli or Inter and be great for them.

Aye, you're right when you talk about the lowering of standards.

Neither are exactly Gary Neville.

Jesse Lingard is currently our best attacker too.

£#%&! me we need a big performance tomorrow.

Soft incident to cop a ban for. That type of thing happens at every set piece down the levels, snide elbows, stamps on your toes, nips, knee in the back. Must be tons of that type of stuff that the camera does not focus on.

I've never said anything other than that they, like a lot of players, are being played out of position.

Austin and that Tarkowski at Burnley missed the games against us because of retrospective action for violent conduct.

Never taken to Young so not arsed personally. Decent enough player but a bit of a cheat and he's one of those players who get rewarded for the bare minimum. A good start in the halcyon days of Anderson and Cleverly, half a season in Van Gaal's first season and a decent run of late. In six and a half seasons that's his lot.

Capable squad player being paid too much. I appreciate that he can spend a long time out of the team, then come in, play a number of positions and perform capably, exactly what you want from a utility squad player. He has had a good season.

Incidentally Valencia and Young are the highest rated full backs in the league this year if you care about any of those metric based websites(whoscored/Squawka)

Default Consistency will be missed!

Young is one only a few players whose consistency of performance is something Jose can depend on this season, Matic and of course De Gea being the others.
Will be missed if he gets ban.

Whoever plays we'll be shit. The manager will still say it's because he needs a new team and his dwindling band of delusional fanbois will lap it up.

I think Valencia is a top right back and at least as good as Walker. He's defensively a machine. Very hard to get by him and he's always concentrated.

Young's best quality is his crossing. But he puts in so many it's just a matter of percentages. For instance a game which sticks out was Palace away a few years ago. He must have put in almost a dozen balls into the box which came to nothing and then the last one picked out Fellaini to score the winner.

In addition the standard of our left back position has fallen so low since Evra left and Shaw had his troubles. I still think Blind's run at left back under Van Gaal in terms of passing, delivery and combination play is the best we've seen in that period. Young is fast and a willing runner but his use of the ball and end product is so wasteful.

Most of the time crossing is percentages. Even Beckham would mostly look to hit an area rather than the man, concentrate on his technique and then allow the attacker do the rest.

Young is probably the best crosser(Blind the better passer) of a ball we have had at full back since Gary Neville. Loved Evra but his final ball was not a strength, he offered so much else on attack though.

He's a miss which says it all. Better player than at least 3 players getting regular games.

I just turn a blind eye to Darmian like he doesn't exist.

Sure that the FA took this decision very reluctantly, and without any thought of kicking someone whilst they're down

As Buck says, teams like Southampton and West Brom, who have real problems not self-inflicted ones like ours, had players pinged for this before playing us. Drop the victim complex.
