Poaching a player from a club we’ve got great links with shouldn’t be this difficult. Especially if he is happy with £130k.

Yet people still blame the manager. Ole hasnt been the best. But the £#%&!ing recruitment is fundamental to our shithousery. If he had paid 45 mill euros in the summer but woodward £#%&!ing decided to be tight £#%&!. Now they can shift the price to 80 million euros.

If sky sports are to be believed and the price has doubled in the last two days we almost have to back out. Especially for the price quoted. Lets hope we have other midfielders on the radar ( who am i kidding we are man utd. We are amatuers at this).

We can’t afford to do that. We need to haggle over every penny because we need to buy so many £#%&!ing players and despite having a huge turnover, we are not flush.

You’ve got to negotiate but a proper well run club would do this before the transfer window opened

I’d imagine lots of clubs refuse to negotiate while the window is shut as they don’t want to sell the player and don’t want to unsettle them. The ones that do move tend to be surplus, clubs need the monies or something like that in Jan.
