We need goals but we don't necessarily need a prolific striker. Who cares who scores after all. You see Chelsea going after big name strikers making the same mistakes as us when they would be a much better team with an all round forward with good feet, decent pace, intelligence only scoring 15 goals a season.

I would kill for a Saha level striker at Utd. Stats wise his goal record might not impress but he was about 5 levels higher than Lukaku as a footballer. Would go on a serial killing spree to get an Andy Cole, to think some compared Lukaku to Cole

And ignoring the widely acknowledged issue that Rashford is carrying a groin injury. Never stops working though. Rom is only going to tank physically. Must be moved on this summer.

Getting rid of these two, and at least another 3 or 4 would be a start. Koulibaly, Eriksen and Sancho (dream on) and promoting a couple of younger players, a pre-season to work with and bring some fitness into the side .... there’s no reason why not but can’t say I’m optimistic.
