Yes, because the sport was important

I made two points in my post:

Sports people and teams can perform above their mean for quite a while.

The dynamics are about to change, as will Liverpool’s mentality. That’s a challenge for klopp to get them over, so the people saying it’s over are vastly premature. It wouldn’t be over if they had 10 games to go, never mind 26.

Crazy.

Their claret jug win last season will surely see Klopp wearing a green jacket come May.

The par league makes so much more sense now.

Well actually it is important. Are you really this thick pal? Do you not understand the fundamental difference between an individual sportsman and sports team?

When discussing performances above the mean, it’s irrelevant.

Good. That's exactly what should happen. Hopefully a player will do it in the last minute of a cup final with his team 1-0 down.

Well they’ve already gone from being “chasers” to actual champions. Do they look like they’ve struggled with expectation since coming back this season? Nope, they’ve picked up where they left off.

Ronaldo subbed off before the hour mark. Feels like it may finally be time

This is the real Ronaldo pal. Just been performing above his mean for a few years.

Don't think they've hit top form either yet.

barring injuries - they will win it.

C'mon Leicester.

Was thinking the same thing myself. Reckon he will give his all to this CL campaign and one last international tournament. Even Messi has been showing signs of it this season, and he’s a year younger than Ronnie. Will be sad to see them gone.

serie a is obviously a joke atm. a certain ex-player is lording it up there while overseeing his team being kicked from europe.

It'll take a miracle for them not to win it. I'll be amazed if they don't walk it tbh.
It'll be horrible, but had to happen eventually.

It wasn't random.

Wouldn't want the game to descent into chaos while thousands of men are racially abusing players obvs. But maybe some perspective.
