On Rooney it'll be - "we're still talking to Wayne. But there's nothing I can tell you about the current situation"

On transfer targets - "there is money to spend but I have nothing concrete to tell you about any deals"

The rest will be about what an honour it is, what a great man Fergie is, how great it is to have Phil Nev & Giggsy involved etc..

He isn't gonna come out all guns blazing & set a load of records straight.
All these issues - Thiago, Rooney, Ronaldo etc.. will drag on for at least another 5-6 weeks.

This. He'll want as little hassle and revelations as possible in his first week. And hes not the most forthcoming of guys anyway. It'll be interesting to hear what hes got to say, but I'm not expecting anything earth shattering from him.
