I didn't have the skills but I would end up in a ditch locked out of my head.

My brother was the shankhill skinhead, and still is. His nickname since school has been 'Norm'. He's 40.

I was Jesper Olsen.

I can't. I've got a vague memory of something similar featuring Mario Kempes and perhaps a goalkeeping one with Dino Zoff, but not sure if they were those same shimmery cards.

Love the saying 'locked'

I'd be Bryan Robson, had his coaching book on how to be the complete footballer
Used to study it and wanted to control the game from the middle...

Then became I striker as it brought @#%&! and glory.
Goals and gear.

Lads...

It's like I always say: You be you. (to thine own self be true).

most of the side I was playing in circa 94 had the collars popped. Even non-united supporters. Which were in the minority. £#%&!ers.

I listened to my heart and went right wing when only later in my career I switched central and realised too late that was where I should have been.

I missed my chance to make it because I watched the wrong coaching video. It was some gary linekar thing. I didn't learn anything from it because his skin was so £#%&!ing tanned. It wasn't natural.

I had a sticker of Cruyff from before then thinking about it, cus I whacked it on the back of the kitchen door and it was there til we moved. That shimmery thing must've been 1974 ish

Solskjaer or Stam when defending, Bergkamp for internationals.
Used to look at city fans like they were idiots fighting over who's Darren Huckerby and Ali Benarbia

Eric. Copied everything he did. Loved constantly using the outside of my foot for control, passing or finishing the way he did

you've lost me now

i was on the verge of thinking it was that after all - I can almost picture the volley with about eight legs or just 2 if you did it really fast but no goal in the imnage

i think maybe the cruyff turn was on the box in a series of stills but the thing inside was that one on amazon (for $50 )

the sticker I had was defo the Holland kit though - when we moved house the sticker had to stay cus it wouldn't peel off the door in one piece. wonder if it's still there
