He wanted Ake, Upamecano, Gabriel or Pau Torres by all accounts.

Hard to market a CB though

Totally forgot about the links to that Torres

Has he moved to any other club? If not then reckon he could be our January signing.

Nope. Buyout is around £50m, no negotiation, so United are out of there.. soon as City were in for Ake we were out of there. Upamecano has a buyout of about £36m for next summer, so they’ll be salivating at that, wait too long or try and get RB to do some kind of deal for a few pennies more/less and someone else will get him.

That Gabriel looks a £#%&!ing bargain

We’re a mess. An unmitigated disaster in the transfer market.

We brought in six players we wanted that we’ve been tracking for months

Looking forward to the rumours starting around January about how we’ve ‘identified’ Upamecano as the player to solve our defensive problems and will ‘lodge a bid’ in the summer only for us to ‘walk away’ around August after the deal went against our ‘footballing ethos’ and he signs for another club.

Then we’ll sign some journeyman looking for a final big day who’ll be an absolute disaster.

Getting rid of the unwanted cb’s we have, is the issue.

The suits want them gone before anyone can come in.

They're currently not happy and very much not busting a gut, that is undeniable.

How much that is the responsibility of our manager is quite another question, however.

I loved Ole as a player; don’t really know him as a manager. Making some very odd decisions.

If any of this Bruno stuff is true I’d sooner keep Bruno than Ole.

He's been our manager for two years, how do you not know him? What you really mean is that you don't want to admit to what you do know. It's fine, we're all in the same boat.

How long before the players down tools for Pochettino? Because he 'hasn't won trophies' etc.

I'd say probably after the board don't back him in his 2nd summer and we go to shit.
