Grimmers...do MLS teams not get a shot at the Copa Libertadores?

Edit: what I mean is...what is the route for then to get into the World Club Cup thing?

Yea, I'm made up for Dave tbh. He's £#%&!ing quality. I wonder if he'll stay on for a couple more years? I'd hate to see him end his career at QPR or some other shit hole.

Sign him up Fergie

I actually think Beckham made a good decision going there. He's undoubtedly raised the profile of the game in the US in a way that nobody else could. The league is almost watchable now and if it continues it'll be half decent within 10-20 years.

I'm sure he'll stay for another couple of years as he earns a fortune, has a great standing and a relatively easy schedule. He has nothing to prove in Europe.

Love seeing those pics.

An absolute class United player who's always (still) gushing about us, our players, manager and fans. Top bloke, top red

I like Becks and he's a top red, but I don't think I could handle the media circus that him and the botox-pumped stick insect would bring if he came back to United.

Aside from that, we should obviously be looking at better options than a 36 year old has-been from the MLS ffs.

Beckham should retire now on a high. His body appears to be telling him to call it a day because he always seems to be carrying some sort of muscle injury..not to mention the serious Achilles injury he suffered at milan.

He's made more money than he could ever dream of so he should just call it a day and start one of those 'osbournes' type tv shows out in the US.

Could you imagine a show like that? It would be like watching paint dry.
