Surely if they run the World Cup . They can refuse a player representation . The World Cup is governed by them and their rules and laws. They can refuse a player registration if they wanted to.

There is a specific precedent - the then TCCB tried to ban players who signed to Packer.

yeah so did the TCCB - players are contracted to the clubs so don't choose their competitions.

Bayern getting praise for not being part of it.... yet.

They’re in a one team league which guarantees trophies and can cherry pick any player they want out of even their closest rivals every summer ffs, as if they’d want to give that up in a hurry.

The Bundesliga have their own problems. The 50+1 rule for ownership might not last much longer.
